A couple of weeks ago, we did the impossible!We got family photos taken!The last family picture of us {that I will openly display}
was when our 3rd little piggy was about 18 months old…she is now 4.
To top that off, the last time said piggy had a real picture taken
was when she was about 4 months old.
My 4th piggy?
She was 3 months old, now she’s almost 2.
Yep, oopsies.
It’s not that I don’t adore pictures, because I do!
It’s just that it’s expensive, I get beyond frustrated trying to coordinate clothes,
not to mention, the men in my family hate them. It just hasn’t been worth the fight.
Until, I started looking at a wall in our family room. The wall SCREAMS “make me a photo wall!”
So, I started looking through pictures to use, and realized that we have seriously slacked.
Enter Stephanie Hoover, a friend of mine who happens to be a photographer…
Next thing we knew, we were sitting by the Tate Barn in Midway.
To our surprise, it was quite painless!
She didn’t make us sit stiff, wear matching denim shirts and khaki pants, or act like some other bland, personality-less family.
She let us be our unique crazy selves.
And, I think because we were comfortable and happy, the photos portray that.
This one is so cute that I don’t even care that Miss June has a toy kitty in her hand!
Isn’t she a doll?
You’d never imagine that behind those baby blues is the reincarnation of Evel Knievel,
but he’s in there.
Look!
The inmates are getting along!
Hallelujah!
Now see, if the she-devils were all standing straight, you’d miss out on who they really are.
This pic captures Lou-Lou and Miss June at their finest.
10 years and 4 kids later, and he’s still good looking.
I’m a lucky girl.
Thanks, Steph for the awesome photos.
If you live in the Heber City/Park City area and would like Stephanie to take your photos,
she’s offering a discount to my friends who book in the next couple weeks!
