Oh my stars, you guys!
I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet around here the last couple weeks, but the final count down to Midway Market is on! There are 5 days left until the market and to say I am burning the candle at both ends would be an understatement. I have so much to do and so little time to get ready. I’m thinking I’m going to have to scale down my plans… a lot. I guess that is ok, it is my first market in probably a decade after all, so it’s bound to be a little bumpy, right?
We’ve all got to start somewhere and I’m at the bottom, it’s all good.
I had a fun Parade of Homes recap and a fairy garden post all planned out, but I guess they will just have to wait until after the market. Oh, and I may just stick with Nature for July too, because we haven’t had nearly enough time to really enjoy that focus at all! You guys good with that? Yes? Good!
I’m telling you, when it rains it pours! I had tonsillitis, was diagnosed with a skin condition, my mother went to the ER, then my youngest got sick, my grandma got put in the ICU, and I got a new nephew all in the last little bit. Add all the kids’ summer camps, scout assignments, and the trucker putting in his last few thousand miles of the heavy season and well, it’s been fun around here! Maybe I should take it as a sign that I shouldn’t be doing this market? Or, maybe I should take it as a sign that I should. Hmmm.
By the way, my sweet grandma is still really struggling. If you have any extra prayers, would you send them her way? We’d like to keep her around for a whole lot longer! Oh, and Nurse Mike at Utah Valley Hospital, if you ever see this, you are rad and my family loves you. Thanks for all you and cute Sharon have done for our grammy.
The world needs more people like this dude, y’all.
With that, I’m off to the garage to milk this Saturday for all it’s worth. I hope to see some of you on Thursday at the market! For directions, hours, and more details go HERE. 5 days, eeeeek! To follow along with the adventure, check out my Instagram feed for some of the behind the scenes fun. I’ll be posting pics of the market along with some of the goodies I’ve been working on!
Anyhoo, wishing you all a fabulous week!
Do something fun, be creative, get outside, say some prayers, and be a giver.
