Yesterday, Manly got so sick of the lack of food in our house, he went shopping at Costco all by his lonesome. This is big news because my husband hates shopping with a passion. I haven’t been able to drive all that well since my accident, so we have been definitely lacking in the food department. I guess he got tired of eating canned soup and decided to do something about it!
I will be honest, it was nice to not have to go. The thought of trying to push a full Costco cart with one arm while chasing 4 kids makes me want to hide under my bed! I am brave, but that crosses the line into sheer stupidity.
Only downside to having men do the shopping for you is they bring home all sorts of other goodies that aren’t on your list. You know, Hot Pockets, 2 mega boxes of Lucky Charms, chicken nuggets, an 8 count of deodorant… and a whole pork tenderloin roast, among other things.
I am a little embarrassed to say that I have never cooked a whole pork tenderloin before. I didn’t even know what to do with it. So, I spent a little time on Google and found this recipe by Paula Deen on the Food Network. I figured that if it was from Paula, it had to be good!
And, it soooooooooooooooo was!
My family couldn’t stop eating it.
Yum!

This recipe was easy, simple {obviously, since I made it with one arm!} and delicious.
