Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef can also use sausage or ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ bell pepper, chopped optional

Instructions

  • Chop the onion and bell pepper.
  • Heat up skillet.
  • Add ground meat and chopped veggies to the skillet and cook until done, stirring often.
  • Drain, if necessary.
  • Let cool. Portion into freezer containers, label, and freeze.
  • When ready to use, pull from freezer and add to soup, stews, sauces, tacos, or any other recipe that calls for cooked ground meat. I don't even thaw it! So handy!

Notes

Bell pepper is optional. I like to sneak veggies in anywhere I get the chance, but you are welcome to omit them if you'd like.
