Instant Pot Easy Peel Boiled Eggs

Cook boiled eggs that are easy to peel and taste great in only 4-5 minutes in the Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 ½ cups water

Instructions
 

  • Place steamer basket or trivet in Instant Pot
  • Pour in 1 1/2 cups water
  • Add eggs. I usually do at least a dozen, sometimes up to 2 dozen
  • Put on the lid and turn the valve to sealing position
  • Press pressure cook or manual (depending on Instant Pot model) then 4-6 minutes*
  • Once done cooking, release steam manually after 4-5 minutes of natural release
  • Cool eggs in an ice water bath for 5 minutes or so

Notes

*I cook my eggs for 4 minutes because we like the yolk a little softer inside.  Some people will like it at 4 minutes like us, and some may want a minute or two more of cook time for a firmer boiled egg. Try it with a few different cook times until you figure out what you prefer.
