Hibiscus Lemon Herbal Sun Tea

A pretty concoction of hibiscus and lemonade in an herbal sun tea, perfect for warm, sunny days

Ingredients
  

  • 1 family sized hibiscus herbal tea bag or 6-8 individual tea bags
  • 32 oz boiling water
  • 2 single serving packets True Lemon lemonade
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 handful fresh mint optional
  • 32 oz cold water
  • ice
  • lemon wedges for garnishing, if desired

Instructions
 

  • Pour 32 ounces of boiling water* over 1 family-sized herbal tea bag or 6-8 individual bags in a 1/2 gallon mason jar or 64 oz pitcher.
  • Cover and let steep in the sun for a couple of hours.
  • Remove tea bags and stir in 2 single-serve packets of True Lemon lemonade.
  • Add lemon slices and mint, if desired.
  • Top off the jar with cold water.
  • Serve over ice with a lemon wedge for garnish.

Notes

*for traditional sun tea, you can use cold water instead of boiling. Steep all day.
