Today I wrote a children’s book.
Well, I think it’s been written in my head for years. I just finally wrote it down on paper, well, typed it on Word. I don’t know what I’ll ever do with it. Let’s be honest, I’m a stay-at-home mother of 4 from Utah, so it probably won’t ever be published. (Let’s not mention the fact that it probably isn’t that great anyway!) But the feeling of satisfaction that comes with actually finishing something for once, is good for the soul.
Maybe you’ll never read to your children the story of my little Tildy and her wishing lesson. Maybe someday you might. Whatever the case, I’m proud. I did something scary today, something that I’ve always wanted to do. And that is something to smile about.
I’m smiling.
Then again, how could you not after seeing that sweet face… hacked off bangs and all.
that’s awesome!!!! I can never figure out an ending. beginning and middle, got it. I want to read it!
