Ok, y’all. I have the worst habit that I have to figure out how to break! I put a ton of work and time into a piece and then sell it before I remember to take photos! I’m thinking of you, gorgeous hand painted red piano. Ugh. What is wrong with me? Case in point, this darling white pedestal table. I finished it, took it to my market, and then sold it, all without snapping pics. Good grief. To make matters worse? I forgot to take pics of the prettiest bed I have EVER done, the day after. Seriously. Why don’t I learn?
Thankfully, my sweet friend who bought this table let me sneak down in her basement and snap some quick pics. They aren’t all staged and beautiful but hey, it’s better than nothing!
When I picked this little occasional table up at a yard sale, it was looking pretty sad. It wasn’t real wood, so I couldn’t refinish it. After some tender loving care, she was all fixed up and ready for paint.
I chose a bright clean white and some colorful happy matte wrapping paper for the drawers.
My favorite part is the pop of color that the papered drawers give. The paper and distressing tone down the formal shape of the table and give it some whimsy, which I love. I chose the paper for the curvy floral detail. It pairs nicely with the vine like carving on the front of the drawers.
Here’s a closer look at the papered drawers.

Now back to the post…
I’m setting a goal right now to not let a piece leave my house until I’ve given it a proper photo shoot!
Don’t let me forget, you guys!
