Hey friends!
I know I don’t usually post on Monday but I just couldn’t wait until tomorrow!
I’ve had several secret projects going this summer and the 2nd one is finally out of the bag! My first secret got out last month when I told you about my new adventure selling my pieces in a local store. You can read about that HERE. So far, it’s been a good learning experience and a lot of fun! If you haven’t stopped by, you need to! It’s the cutest little shop. The last of my secret projects installs tomorrow and I can’t wait to share that with you! This project is so cool. However, it may be a bit longer until I can take some after pics and write a post so we’ll just have to be patient. (Patience isn’t my specialty. Eek.) It’ll totally be worth it though because this is the one gorgeous project. Hang tight, ok?
In the meantime, I’m excited to share my secret summer project number 2 with you!
I’m not really sure how it all happened but I have been asked to be a contributing writer for KSL.com!
Holy cow, I couldn’t feel more excited and terrified at the same time! I’ll be writing an article once a month for KSL Classifieds about DIY, home decor, and all that crazy jazz that I love. Since I practically live on the classifieds pages, this seemed like the perfect fit for me. Each month I’ll be given a new topic idea that I can run and have some fun with.
This month’s article is all about how to keep with kitchen trends while sticking to a budget. I scoured the UV Parade of Homes looking for the latest and greatest in kitchens and then figured out 5 simple ways that every day average home owners can implement those trends in their own homes. These kitchen updates are quick, easy, and inexpensive. No matter what the media tells you, you don’t need millions to have a home you love.
Stop by the article and let me know what you think!
And please tell me I’m not the only one who takes random pics of hardware.
I mean, that’s really not weird right?
This is awesome Missy! Way to go, you are amazing!
