I don’t think there is anything I dread about trucker trips more than Single Lady Sundays, it is quite possibly my version of Hell. Just the thought of taking 4 kids to church by myself sends shivers down my spine!

I honestly can’t think of better birth control.

Why can’t I be a smart girl and have the clothes laid out, the diaper bag packed, the car full of gas {I may or may not be calling one of you tomorrow to bring me some so I can get down to the gas station… yeah, I let it get THAT low. Oopsies?}, food ready for the crock-pot, and what ever else put together the night before? Remember the “Saturday is a Special Day” song? You’d think I’d learn, but you’d sure be wrong!
I don’t pick up things quickly. I apparently enjoy doing things the hard way.

They honestly weren’t so bad, it’s more the stress that kills me. We took the sacrament, learned a little, then made it home in one piece… barely. But, we went.
    That’s all that matters, right?

    Next Sunday I’ll do better.

For all of you single mothers out there, I salute you. You are my hero. Keep your chin up and remember that what you are doing is important. You are laying the foundation for your children that they will have with them for the rest of their lives. They might not remember what they learned today, but they will remember that their mother loved them, made the effort, and did her best.

    You are amazing.
