Big Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

February 3, 2016

  1. Jenny says:

Do you love using your cookie paddles? I don’t have those, I just use the dough mixer. And, great, now I need some cookies. 🙂

  2. mary says:

    boo terrible cookies

  3. deb says:

how many dozen does this make?

    • Missy says:

I’m not really sure, I’ve never really counted. The recipe makes a ton of cookies. We usually just eat as many as we want, fill the cookie jar, and then freeze the rest of the dough for another day.

  4. Audrey says:

These cookies are awesome!!! We farm and using a recipe that makes the biggest batch possible, is necessary. We go through a lot of cookies during harvest and we need to keep our farm hands as happy as possible during this time of year. They love this recipe.

    • Missy says:

Audrey, I’m so happy! Thanks for coming back and commenting. You totally made my day! One of my closest friends ranches and farms, so I get it. Lots of bellies to feed! I’m glad these cookies helps keep them all going. Hope your harvest was a good one!

  5. Rhelda says:

how many cookies do you get out of a batch of these?

    • Missy says:

Hi Rhelda, I’m honestly not sure. It depends on the size of the cookie scoop you use. When I make them, the cookie dough fills my whole Bosch mixer bowl. I usually make some cookies, then freeze the rest of the dough for later. Next time I make them, I will measure them out and totally update the recipe.

    • Missy says:

I went back and made these cookies to keep myself busy during stay at home/quarantine orders. The recipe made 5 1/2 dozen cookies using a 2-inch cookie scoop. We like big cookies over here. Hope that helps!

  6. Maeve Wiser says:

I love these cookies!! They are the classic fill the cookie jar kind! They are unique to most of the cookies that I am accustomed to because of how flat they turned out, but they taste even better flatter! During these times of social distancing I have picked up baking and I’m loving it. Making these cookies was the perfect way to spend a part of my afternoon.
